We offer to study the models of various devices, which are developed with rigorous numerical and analytical methods or with the help of various computer-aided design systems.
According to the concept of our virtual radiophysics laboratory, the modeled device is represented as an independent software module (dynamic plug-in library, dll-file)
with a specific external interface that provides interaction with other devices and instruments to be connected by creating the necessary connections in a specially designed software module.
Therefore, one and the same device can be connected to different measuring devices
(for example, a filter under study can be connected either to the ZVA-40 Rohde&Schwarz vector analyzer or to the E8363B PNA Network Analyzer Keysight Technologies).
Besides, it is planned to create a module allowing to process experimental data obtained with the help of modern high-tech measuring systems and saved in *.s2p file format.
This will make it possible to easily and quickly expand the range of the studied devices.
Today we offer the models of the following devices:
- waveguide filters based on:
• rectangular waveguide
• waveguides with complex cross-section (H- and P-waveguides)
• circular waveguides with a complex cross-section aperture
- RLC filters
- Coaxial-waveguide junction
- Microstrip devices
• directional taps
• resonators
• filters
- Various antennas
• slotted waveguide antennas
• mirror antennas
- Modulators of radio signals
- Microwave transistor amplifier
As the models of new instruments and devices are being constantly created, this list is currently changing.
Some microwave devices with abilities of geometry changes are presented for investigation: H Waveguide Filter Microstrip Resonator Waveguide-Coaxial Transitions Reflection Characteristics of the Slotted Waveguide Antenna Circular Waveguide Filter Microstrip Directional Coupler Microstrip Filter Study of microwave devices characteristics depending on their geometrical dimensions is available to the user.
